Last November the third edition of the Catalonia Ecodesign Award was held, convened by the Department of Territori and Sustainability of the Generalitat and the Catalan Waste Agency.
The award goes to designers, product manufacturers or students with the aim of recognizing those products and services that reduce the environmental impact on their life cycles. Based on sustainable design criteria, from its conception to the management of the final waste, through the manufacturing, distribution and use process, its contribution to the circular economy is valued.
The jury awarded the Ecodesign Award in the Product category to Alpine from Escofet. In recognition of the incorporation of eco-design strategies and the contribution to the circular economy, the quality of design and innovation.
