Since late 2007, Cementos Molins, S.A. owns the 65% of  SOTACIB, a cement producer Tunisian company. SOTACIB has an annual production capacity of 350.000 tons of white cement at its factory in Feriana. It exports part of its production to Algeria, Libya and France. At present (January 2008), a second line is being built, which will allow to double production from the first quarter of 2009. Moreover, SOTACIB has the project and the required authorizations to build a grey cement factory with a production capacity of one million tons in Kairouan with the commitment to start it up in mid-2010.
